Willem Donker from the Netherlands visited and mapped all Polish megalithic monuments

In 2022, Willem Donker from the Netherlands mapped and pictured all the German megalithic monuments. It took him 10 years to visit more than 1,500 sites. This project has been talked about before (https://megalithicroutes.eu/all-german-megalithic-monuments-now-documented/).

In 2023, Willem Donker added a new chapter, namely the megalithic monuments in Poland. Just under 100 sites he has visited, researched and recorded with photographs. The results can be seen at https://www.hunebednieuwscafe.nl/poolse-hunebedden/. Meanwhile, he has come up with a new plan, which is to visit all Danish megalithic monuments in the next five years. That’s about 2,500 locations, a big job. We wish him every success.
