VI International Rock Art Congress, in Trigueros Spain on November 16th, 17th and 18th, 2022.
Former Carmel Convent. Trigueros (Spain)
Prehistoric art and museums. Cultural diffussion and tourism management of the first art from the museums.
At this year’s congress, we will have a morning seminar entitled “Museums, territory and heritage”, where university professors, museum directors, and museology/museography professionals from different countries will share their knowledge.
We will also offer a technical visit to two fundamental assets of the heritage of Trigueros (Spain):
the Dolmen of Soto, one of the most monumental and most profusely decorated in Europe; and the Juan Vides House Museum, the outstanding neighbour to whom we owe the initiative of such a remarkable discovery.
In the afternoon sessions, the directors of different museums in Spain, Portugal and Italy, and members of Prehistoric Rock Art Trails (cultural route of the Council of Europe) will participate.
The congress is free, and you can attend in person and online by filling out the following form that appears in the QR of the image. More information at www.trigueros.e
