European day of megalithic culture was celebrated at Gillhög, Sweden on the 29th of April 2023

To bring attention to the megalithic monuments in western Skåne the project Megalithic
Lundaland held a celebration of the European day of megalithic culture at the passage grave
Gillhög. About 30 people gathered.

The day also marked the starting point for the project Megalithic Lundaland. Megalithic Lundaland is a project that aims to make available and bring to life the many exciting megalithic monuments in Kävlinge municipality and Lundaland. Project owner, Head of Unit for Business Development & Tourism in Kävlinge and board member in Megalithic Routes Mats Rosén hosted the event. The theme of the day was ”Testimonies of past and future”.
