Tourismusverband Osnabrücker Land e.V.
Being founded in 1991 makes Tourismusverband Osnabrücker Land e.V. (TOL) one of the more recent regional associations in Lower Saxony. The city and district of Osnabrück as well as 40 further cities, joint and single communities of the region decided to bundle its infrastructure development and tourism marketing under the umbrella brand “Osnabrücker Land”. Its aim to date is the trans-regional positioning of the Osnabrücker Land region as THE destination for holidays and short trips, the development and improvement of its tourism infrastructure whereby strategic product planning and sale are its key responsibilities.
The TOL sees itself as both a generator and link in the ‘customer journey’ and places great emphasis on increasing the number of visitors to the region and thus the economic success of all key players in tourism. In addition, high recreational value and a better quality of life are the factors which play an increasingly important role where attracting a skilled workforce and new residents is concerned. Tourism in the Osnabrücker Land region has thus become a yardstick for the quality of life in the area.
In order to further increase the positive image and the level of awareness of both the city and the region of Osnabrück, the TOL plays a major role in shaping the topics of quality and qualification through organizing and executing a wealth of qualifications and training events.
